OFFICIAL UNIFORM

The following uniform is required when officiating games:

bulletBlack pants (straight or pleats); no jeans; avoid pants with belt loops (if pants have belt loops, a belt should be worn)
bulletV-neck striped shirt (for sub-varsity games)
bulletV-neck gray shirt (for varsity games)

A black or white undershirt is recommended for under the striped shirt.  The undershirt does not need to be seen around the neck or along the arms.

bulletBlack calf-length socks; no ankle socks

Two pairs of socks is recommended for comfort; most officials wear a thin pair of black socks over a thicker pair of socks

bulletBlack shoes (solid color) (do not get cheap shoes; get comfortable shoes)
bulletBlack lanyard (Can be a lanyard that is worn around the neck or one that connects to an eyelet on the front of the striped shirt)
bulletBlack Fox-40 whistle (Do not use metal whistles or ones with a pea in them)

If you choose to travel to games dressed in your uniform, wear a shirt other than the V-neck striped shirt for travel purposes; put on the V-neck striped shirt when you arrive at the game site.
